This intricately carved Arizona Fire Agate shimmers with irridescent green, orange, brown and gold. The spiraling shape of this 10 carat stone envokes images of a nauttilus. It is 3/4" long and 9/16" across.This exceptional stone could be incorporated as the shell of a golden turtle or be the treasure guarded by a golden dragon.
Fire agate is found only in the southwestern U.S.A. and in northern Mexico. Fire agates have a hardness of 6.5-7 on the MOHS scale so these irridescent rainbow colored stones are extremely durable.
