This 17.5 ct intricately carved Arizona fire agate is aglow with firey reds, oranges, greens and gold. We choose names for our stones that we think are appropriate to their personality and this fire agate reminds us of pooling lava.
Fire agate is found only in the southwestern U.S.A. and in northern Mexico. Fire Agates have a hardness of 6.5-7 on the MOHS scale so these irridescent rainbow colored stones are extremely durable.This remarkable stone is 3/4" long and 5/8" high and would be suitable set in either a pendant or a ring design.
