Japanese Jewelry

My husband Art was born and raised in Okinawa, Japan so in 2007 our family flew there to spend three months. I set up a temporary studio and designed a line of charms inspired by the Okinawa culture. The designs on this page have been inspired by my many trips to Japan, Okinawa and the Ryukyu Islands. Koi Fish swim serenely in formal Japanese gardens shaded by Gingko Trees and garlands of folded paper Peace Cranes decorate the many shrines and war memorials.  The islands of Okinawa Prefecture boasts of lush jungles of Iriomote.
and pristine coral reefs of Zamami.
