Pictured here is my new Mangrove Dragon Pendant. Mangrove Dragon perches atop a weird and wonderful 33 carat Fire Agate. The fire agate is intricately carved to reveal a palette of iridescent greens with subtle lavender highlights. This one of a kind dragon is cast in 18K gold. The pendant measures 1 5/8" high and 1 1/4" across.
Fire agate is found only in the southwestern U.S.A. and in northern Mexico. Fire Agates have a hardness of 6.5-7 on the MOHS scale so these irridescent rainbow colored stones are durable.
