This intensly patterned Koroit Boulder Opal weighs 20.5 ct. Intricate veins of opalescent blues and greens permeate the stone, perhaps the root system of a Primeval Forest? I envision this stone set horizontally. The dimensions of the opal are 1 3/16" tall by 1/2" wide. This is one of my most vibrant Koroit opals but there is some matrix flaking on the back and top edge of the opal. This remarkable stone could be a dragon's treasure or the foundation for a magical tree. There are so many possibilities and there is never enough time to bring all my visions to fruition.
