This one of a kind Vulcan Dragon Pendant is cast in 18K gold. An intricate bezel of flames licks up and around the 52.5 carat multicolored Austrian Boulder Opal. When choosing an opal, I look for ones with a story to tell that inspire me to create a setting to complete the narrative. The many colors of this big, bold and beautiful opal twinkle like the lights of a Carnival. Because of the detailed flame bezel, I named this dragon Vulcan after the Roman God of Fire. A 5mm tsavorite is bezel set in the upswept curve of the dragon's tail. The overall length of the pendant is 3".
