This one of a kind Raven Skull Pendant clasps a pyritized ammonite negative in its bony talons. Deep green 4mm tsavorites are set in the raven's eyes. The piece is lost wax cast in sterling silver and is 2" long. A negative ammonite not actually a fossil but the imprint that the ammonite shell leaves in the surrounding sediment. This particular specimen is actually a double negative meaning that it is imprinted on both sides. The imprints have been impregnated with pyrite creating this unusual double negative 'fossil."
