Travel back to the dawn of time with our wickedly detailed Trilobite Fossil Ring. Measuring 1-1/4" long by 9/8" wide, this statement piece features a genuine, hand-selected Elrathia kingii trilobite fossil from Utah.

The photos feature Alisha’s original,  textured wax carving, which mirrors the prehistoric armor of these ancient seafloor wanderers. The sterling silver band splits into a bold, sharp triangle on the sides to carry out the edgy, spiky aesthetic, while the open-back setting allows the natural, unpolished underside of the fossil seen.

Sourcing the Elrathia King Trilobites of right size and quality is challenging and Alisha chooses the finest specimens available. Each specimen has its unique characteristics and time worn imperfections. (You would too if you were 65 – 300 million years old.) There are over 20,000 trilobite species and the fossils are found on every continent on earth. They are extinct arthropods, a distant relative to horseshoe crabs, spiders and lobsters.
