This one of a kind Frog Pendant is cast in solid 18K gold and is set with an iridescent green 7.5 ct Arizona Fire Agate. The shape and the bumpy surface of this remarkable stone inspired this frog design. A Google search of frog images took me to the Harlequin Frog, a genus of frog that includes 80 spieces that inhabitat the rainforests between Costa Rica and Bolivia. The Harlequin Frog is endangered because of habitat destruction due to logging and contamination.
The Golden Harlequin Frog is 1 5/8" diagonally and the dimensions of the fire agate are 5/8" x 3/8" There are two bails for the chain behind both a front and a hind foot.
