Unusually shaped with two lobes of iridescence, this 6.5 ct. Mexican Fire Opal will be the focal stone for a wonderful one of a kind, 18K gold dragon pendant. The dragon's tail will slip nicely between the two sections of the stone. With more regularly shaped opals, it is sometimes a challenge to find gripping points to set an opal securely. At it's longest point, the opal is 5/8" long with pinpricks of fire within the lobes and a lovely streak of bright orange along one side.
