Our whimsical Axolotl charm is a cross between reality and the popularized and cartoonish social media Axolotl that gets millions of views on Instagram. It is also a character on Minecraft and often kept as a pet in many aquariums throughout the world. Pet ownership in California and a few other states is restricted. They are endangered in the wild. Axolotl is an Aztec name and a scarce few remain in their natural lake habitats surrounding Mexico City. An Axolotl is a species of amphibious salamander that will mature sexually but never actually metamorphosis to walk onto land.
