'Abyss,' a one of a kind design features two Australian boulder opals. Converging angles intersect to create ascetic tension in this pendant design. A 4mm sandadwana emerald accents the cobalt and turquoise colors of the freeform opals. The piece is lost wax cast in sterling silver and is is 2-1/4" (57 mm) long. This is the second of a series of one of a kind abstract designs imagined by Alisha. Her design is edgy and organic and uniquely her own.
Take a step back to the modernist jewelry designs between 1930 and 1960. Consider how growing up, Alisha was influenced by her mother's 'hippy' and modernist artist friends. Stir in Alisha's generational mix of punk and goth and add a pinch of nature mixed with freeform Australian boulder opal and this is the AWESOME that comes out of the pot!
