This proud and impressive dragon wraps around a scepter shaped Australian Boulder Opal. The Jagged pattern of the opal vein screams "Icicle" to me, thus the naming of this piece. The scepter shaped Australian Boulder Opal is 71 ct and 2" long. The sterling silver dragon's wing span is 2" and the overall length of the dragon is 2 3/4". A 20" sterling silver wheat chain is included in the price making the overall length of the chain 22". Many hours of wax carving are required to adapt each wax to encircle and guard a particular treasure. There is just one "Scepter Icicle Dragon" available. As time permits, other variations with different obelisks, scepters and crystals may come to fruition.
