Archipelago Moonrise Wave Pendant - Mexican Matrix Opal -18K Gold

Escape to your private archipelago and drift to sleep under the light of a full moon. This one of a kind Archipelago Moonrise Wave Pendant is cast in solid 18K gold. After drooling over the 70.5 carat Mexican matrix opal for two years, I finally purchased it with design ideas spinning in my head. Triangular in shape, the opal is 1-5/8" long and 1-1/4" across. One feels as if one could slip into the blue-green pools of the iridescent opal. Ocean waves carress and secure the opal and a 6 mm faceted rainbow moonstone is tucked into waves cresting above the opal. Turn the piece over and discover a 5mm cabochon apatite accenting the intricate wave design on the back.
