This irridescent treasure reminds me of an uncharted Archipelago. This sculptural 12.0 ct Fire Agate has three elevated "islands" floating in a sea of green. Let your imagination set sail and explore these islands of green, orange and gold. The stone is 3/4" high X 1/2" across.

Fire agate is found only in the southwestern U.S.A. and in northern Mexico. Fire Agates have a hardness of 6.5-7 on the MOHS scale so these iridescent rainbow colored stones are extremely durable.This remarkable stone is 3/4" long and 5/8" high and would be suitable set in either a pendant or a ring design.
