Aptly named Scepter, this 9.5 ct. Mexican Fire Opal has regal essence. The stunning stone is 1" long and morphs from blue and purple irridescence to blazing flashes of gold and orange. Of the opals we purchased at the 2018 Tucson Gem and Mineral show, this bi-color opal is the finest. I was over budget when I came across it on our final day of shopping. It was Alisha who encouraged me to take this "Scepter" home.
