My son John Bobroskie was inspired to sculpt this striking Garuda Ring after a recent trip to Bali and India. The Garuda is a large bird like creature that appears in both Hinduism and Buddhism. It is the mount for the Lord Vishnu. Garuda is also the sworn ememy of the Naga, a serpent race and Garuda feeds on serpents. Garuda amulets and rings are often worn to protect the wearer from snake attacks....but here at Marty Magic, we are quite fond of snakes.
